Senior SAS Software Developer

For ten years now we’ve been providing top quality Business Intelligence software to companies large and small, across the USA, Europe and here in Asia Pacific. Our client base is expanding rapidly, we have an ambitious schedule for the future versions of Futrix software, and to support this we’re planning to more than double the size of our technical team by the end of 2007.

The position

We're looking for SAS Software Developers to join our development team working on the next release of our software, provide architecture and integration support for the next generation of the software, and to develop customer requested extensions using our built in development framework. As a minimum, you’ll have a solid grounding in Object Oriented development using SAS/AF SCL. To support that you'll have worked as a SAS applications developer for a number of years to acquire knowledge in areas such as:

·         BASE SAS including MACRO and SQL

·         Data manipulation, summarisation, and analysis

·         SAS reporting technologies including ODS

·         SAS Version 9 BI Server platform

·         HTML and XML

It will add to your credentials if you are familiar with commercial application development disciplines such as agile development methodologies, unit testing and test driven development, or object oriented analysis and design.
